House Keeping

EnQuinta assigns to your property a property manager and senior maid, who are directly responsible for the management and presentation of your property at all times.

This also allows you the owner the opportunity to build a relationship with the people who are cleaning your property meaning you feel more comfortable discussing your requirements for cleaning with them and they learn how you like things done.

It also provides you with peace of mind if the property is being rented out, the property manager and maids will report back to the management team any issues with guests allowing us to take any necessary actions to protect your property and its furnishings.

In order for us to be accountable to you at all times, your housekeeper keeps a complete record of all cleaning activities/duties and purchases including any comments or recommendations.

Extraordinary occurrences can be logged and reported back to the administration team. As well as providing total transparency of accounts it also provides you the owner with the ability to carry out your own quality checks with complete discretion.

The amount of time required to clean a property is largely decided by you the owner, determined by how often you wish the maids to visit and what cleaning duties you wish them to carry out. This typically involves making the beds, cleaning all bathrooms and the kitchen, cleaning all floor surfaces indoors and balconies/terraces, changing linen and bath towels and dusting all surfaces.

For one/two bed apartment we recommend 1-2 hours every second day (Monday to Friday) for a three/four bedroom property 2-3 hours every second day (Monday to Friday).

When a property is being rented, the min requirements are 1 hours per day for a one/two bedroom property and 1.5 hours a day for three/four bedroom apartment, and between two and four hours for a villa.


When the property is vacant:

This is entirely dependent upon the property and we would discuss this with you the owner and agree a schedule that protects the property whilst it is left unoccupied.

Prior to your arrival your maids will go in and clean the property ready for your arrival – this will include making up the beds with fresh linen, opening and cleaning the security shutters, washing all windows, sweeping all outside spaces, cleaning of all cupboards, shelves and wardrobe spaces.

Upon departure housekeeping will return to clean all WC’s and bathrooms, ovens, hobs, dishwashers ready for the technical team to enter and secure the property.

The housekeeper will supply and keep a record of all cleaning products when necessary, a copy of the invoice will be kept in your file and a debit will be made from your EnQuinta account.

From time to time we would advise that all carpets and furnishings be professionally cleaned to preserve the fabrics, your housekeeper will discuss this with you and work will only be carried out with your prior approval.

Our supplier programme means we work directly with distributors for market leaders such as Molton Brown, Hoover, Johnson Diversey, Vileda to ensure the best in guest toiletries and home care products are selected.
